Bike Mechanics

Our qualifications in Bike Mechanics will provide you with the skills and knowledge you’ll need to become a Mechanic or Service Technician. You will learn how to service and install a wide range of bikes, components and systems including e-Bikes.

Each programme is delivered over 19 weeks and is made up of practical block courses at our Cromwell Campus in Central Otago, as well as distance learning and workplace experience. Increase your knowledge and skill set further. During this programme, you will add more advanced techniques such as wheel building, suspension servicing, frame preparation and e-Bike diagnostics to your existing abilities and hone your previous knowledge to methodically diagnose, repair, overhaul and rebuild bicycles and components.
